She Wasn't Herself: Nagarjuna On Nayanthara's Turmoil After Simbu Break-Up
Nayanthara has never spoken about her high-profile relationship and break-up with actor Silambarasan, popularly known as Simbu.
Well, she seems to have finally spoken about her affair with Simbu without mentioning his name in her new Netflix's documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale.

In the series, she reflected on her relationships and struggles. During the course, she referred to her first relationship.
"My first relationship was purely based on trust, the trust that the other person is in love with you," she said. They fell in love during the making of Vallavan. A leaked private picture created a lot of controversy back then.
According to Nagarjuna, the break-up affected her. "It was a turbulent time in her relationship. In fact, we would dread the moment her phone rang because it would turn her off immediately. She became a different person," he tells.
She also mentions about her relationship with actor-choreographer Prabhu Deva.
After her breakup, Nayanthara immersed herself in work, taking on multiple film projects as a coping mechanism. During the making of Villu, she started dating Prabhu Deva. Reflecting on that time, she shares, "It was he who asked me to quit cinema,"
She ended her career in order to tie the knot to him. In fact, she located to Mumbai. However, something went wrong and they parted ways on the verge of their marriage.
Nayan wonders why people with whom she was in relationship never faced media scrutiny. She questions, "Just because I stayed silent, people made up their own stories. They assumed the worst. Why aren't the men ever questioned?"
However, the actress bounced back and started focusing on her career. Later, she fell in love with young filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. They are happily married and have two children.
