Shankar Mahadevan And Hariharan Reject Nora Fatehi, Tamannaah Bhatia As Triveni Concert Guests
Anup Jalota, Shankar Mahadevan, and Hariharan, three of India's most esteemed singers, are preparing for a concert tour across multiple cities, where they aim to showcase the splendor of Indian music.
The tour, named Triveni, was initially proposed to include Bollywood actresses Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah Bhatia as guest performers. The proposition, put forth by Manish Harishankar of MH Films, intended to blend cinematic glamour with musical excellence.

Despite the innovative proposal, the singers decided against incorporating the actresses into their performances. They expressed a strong preference for preserving the concert's focus on Indian music's artistic value and depth, without the addition of Bollywood's glitz. This decision underscores their commitment to celebrating Indian music's rich culture and diversity without external distractions. A source close to the development revealed to Hindustan Times that the singers felt adding Bollywood guests would shift the audience's attention away from the music, which they wanted to avoid at all costs.
The singers conveyed that any guest appearances should ideally be by fellow musicians who share the concert's ethos, rather than film stars. This approach aims to keep the spotlight firmly on the musical performances, ensuring the event remains true to its original vision. The trio's stance highlights their dedication to providing audiences with a pure musical experience, emphasizing the importance of artistic integrity over celebrity appeal.
On their respective career fronts, Tamannaah Bhatia is currently basking in the success of her latest film, "Sikandar Ka Muqaddar," a riveting action heist thriller where she stars alongside Avinash Tiwary and Jimmy Shergill. Nora Fatehi, on the other hand, has been making waves with her recent projects, including "Madgaon Express" and her Telugu debut film, "Matka." She is also set to appear in the upcoming movie "Dancing Dad."
