Shakira India Tour: Latin Pop Star Announces For April 2026 With Shows In Two Cities

Latin pop star Shakira is set to return to India in April 2026 for a two-city tour, with performances planned in Mumbai and Delhi as part of a charity-linked concert series focused on child nutrition.

The concerts are being organised under the non-profit initiative Feeding India, in collaboration with District by Zomato. This will also mark the first Feeding India Concert to be held across more than one Indian city, with proceeds supporting programmes aimed at tackling hunger and improving nutrition access for children across the country.

Shakira will perform at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on April 10, 2026, before heading to the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi for a second concert on April 15, 2026. The shows are expected to mark her first large-scale performances in India in nearly 19 years, following her 2007 Mumbai stop during the Oral Fixation tour.

In a statement announcing the tour, Shakira said performing in India has always been special to her and that she is looking forward to connecting with fans in both Mumbai and Delhi. She added that the purpose of the tour is to support efforts ensuring that children have access to adequate nutrition.

Tickets for the India tour will be sold exclusively through District, with a phased booking window in place. HSBC credit card users will receive a 48-hour advance booking period starting at 12 PM IST on February 27 and ending at 12 PM IST on March 1. General ticket sales will open for all users at 1 PM IST on March 1.

The announcement adds India to the list of destinations on major global touring circuits, as international artists increasingly include Indian cities in their schedules. Shakira, one of the best-selling female Latin artists of all time, has sold over 100 million records worldwide and received Billboard's Top Female Latin Artist of the Decade title twice.

Songs such as Hips Don't Lie, Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), Whenever, Wherever, and She Wolf continue to draw large global streaming numbers. Her recent Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour also achieved a Guinness World Record as the highest-grossing tour by a Latin artist.

With the Feeding India partnership, the upcoming 2026 shows in Mumbai and Delhi combine large-scale live entertainment with a focus on child nutrition, as anticipation builds ahead of ticket sales.
