Shahid Kapoor Meets Shoaib Akhtar At ILT20 Opening In UAE, Harbhajan Singh Also Seen | WATCH
Actor Shahid Kapoor and legendary Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar crossed paths at the opening ceremony of the ongoing International League T20 (ILT20) in the UAE, accompanied by Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh.
Shoaib Akhtar shared a video on Instagram, capturing a brief chat with Shahid. The actor, dressed in an all-black outfit, was attending the third season of the ILT20.

In the clip, Shoaib was seen smiling during the exchange, while Shahid acknowledged Harbhajan Singh by patting him on the shoulder.
At the end of their conversation, Shahid extended his hand to bid farewell to Shoaib. Sharing the video, the fast bowler described the encounter as a 'lovely' coincidence, writing: "Lovely running into @shahidkapoor at @ilt20official. #allinforcricket #entertheepic #KabirSingh @harbhajan3."
Shahid performed at the opening ceremony alongside the cast of 'Deva', entering the stage with full "Deva swag" to tracks 'Marji Chaa Maalik' and 'Aala Re Aala Deva Aala'.
Following his act, he joined Pooja Hegde to perform the viral hook step from the song 'Bhasad Macha'.
Shoaib Akhtar, celebrated for his lightning-fast bowling and nicknamed the 'Rawalpindi Express', remains one of cricket's most formidable icons.
With 444 wickets across Test, ODI, and T20 formats for Pakistan, he is serving as an ambassador for ILT20's second season. Harbhajan Singh is also part of the tournament as a commentator.
Meanwhile, Shahid's upcoming film 'Deva' has unveiled its first track, 'Bhasad Macha', which is gaining popularity on social media.
Directed by renowned Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews, the film follows Shahid as a rebellious police officer tasked with solving a high-profile case filled with deception, betrayal, and conspiracy. His investigation leads him into a perilous journey of intense action and adrenaline-filled chases.
Set to release on January 31, 2025, 'Deva' marks Shahid's return to the big screen after nearly a year. His last film, 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya', featured him opposite Kriti Sanon.
