Sanam Teri Kasam Re-Release Box Office Collection Crosses ₹30 Crore Net, Eyes New Record

Sanam Teri Kasam Re-Release Box Office Collection Day 10: Maddock Films' Chhaava may have dominated the box office, but it hasn't been able to outshine Sanam Teri Kasam, the 9-year-old cult classic romantic drama, which has defied expectations and achieved impressive numbers during its re-release. Starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, the emotional love story, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, has continued to pull in solid box office earnings since it returned to theaters.

Despite a slight dip in performance in its second weekend, Sanam Teri Kasam is still on track to outgross Tumbbad as the highest-grossing re-release in Indian box office history. The film garnered approximately ₹3.60 crore net in its second weekend, including a strong ₹1.35 crore net on Sunday. This brought its total earnings to over ₹30 crore net, adding to the ₹26.40 crore earned during its first week.

With just ₹2 crore more, Sanam Teri Kasam is poised to surpass Tumbbad's ₹32 crore net earnings and claim the title of India's top re-release grosser. However, Chhaava's strong run at the box office poses a significant challenge, keeping the romance drama from claiming its spot sooner.

Though the race has been prolonged by the dominance of Chhaava, Sanam Teri Kasam has already marked an undeniable success in its second theatrical run. The film has also crossed the ₹50 crore mark globally, including its original release collection, cementing its status as a lasting favorite among audiences.
