Salman Khan Upgrades Mumbai Galaxy Apartment Security With Bulletproof Windows Amid Rising Threats
Bollywood actor Salman Khan has completed renovations to enhance the security of his Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai's Bandra, eight months after a shooting incident outside his residence.
According to NDTV, the updates include bulletproof windows, a state-of-the-art security system, and high-resolution CCTV cameras designed to detect any suspicious activity in the vicinity. Bulletproof glass has been installed to reinforce the balcony from which Salman Khan greets his fans. The actor resides in a 1BHK flat on the ground floor, while his parents live on the first floor.

The move comes in the wake of an April 14 incident where two men on a motorcycle fired four shots at Salman Khan's residence before fleeing. The actor believes the attack was orchestrated by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, with the intention of harming him and his family.
The ongoing feud between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi stems from the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case, for which Salman Khan was convicted. The Bishnoi community considers Blackbucks sacred, and Lawrence Bishnoi has made several threats against the actor, vowing revenge. The shooting incident outside Khan's home marks an alarming escalation in these threats.
In October, the tension intensified with the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, who was close to Salman Khan. The involvement of Lawrence Bishnoi's brother, Anmol, in the murder has further complicated the situation. Anmol is currently detained in the US, and Mumbai Police's chargesheet indicated that Siddique's relationship with Khan played a key role in the motive behind the murder.
Salman Khan had previously received similar threats, including one from an unknown caller demanding ₹2 crore. The Worli police have registered a case regarding the threat, following several WhatsApp messages sent to the Mumbai Police's traffic helpline.
