Roi Roi Binale: Zubeen Garg’s Final Film Set for October 31 Release

Garima Saikia, the wife of singer and actor Zubeen Garg, recently spoke about his last film, "Roi Roi Binale." The movie is set for release on October 31. Garima mentioned that Zubeen was deeply committed to this project, which is now in its post-production stage. She shared her determination to honour his plans for the film's release.

Zubeen's untimely death in Singapore left a significant gap in the project. Garima expressed her sadness over not completing his voice dubbing for the film. She described this as a "void" since Zubeen had acted in a unique role as a blind artist in the musical love story. Despite this, all other music-related work was completed.

Final Farewell to Zubeen

On Tuesday, Zubeen was cremated with full state honours at Kamarkuchi village in Sonapur, near Guwahati. His sister, Palme Borthakur, performed the final rites. Garima was visibly emotional during the ceremony, shedding tears as she bid farewell to her husband, affectionately known as "Goldie" by loved ones.

The cremation ceremony included a gun salute, and hundreds gathered to pay their respects to the beloved singer. Zubeen tragically passed away while scuba diving on September 19. His death has left a void not only in his personal life but also in his professional endeavours.

A Personal Touch

Director Rajesh Bhuyan revealed that alongside the film's release, a personal letter by Zubeen will be shared. This letter intertwines his professional journey with his private life. According to The Assam Tribune, it offers an intimate glimpse into Zubeen's world and adds a personal touch to his legacy.

Garima emphasised how passionate Zubeen was about "Roi Roi Binale." She expressed her commitment to continue working on the film and adhere to the planned release date of October 31. This dedication reflects her desire to honour Zubeen's vision and share it with audiences.
