At a recent pre-release event of Nani and Mrunal's 'Hi Nanna', the viewers were in for a surprise. As the anchor was taking up social media questions to the film team, there was suddenly a picture of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna popped up on screen.

It was an old viral collage image of Vijay and Rashmika from their Maldives trip, but why the said photo was shown at the event, left many wondering. Nonetheless, Nani and Mrunal laughed when the said photo popped up on the big screen.

Upon spotting a photographer nearby, Suma asked if he was the one who captured their images in Bali. She also questioned whether he could take such pictures, displaying a lack of understanding of the concept of privacy.

However, this development did not go well with the fans. Expressing his anguish against them, one user wrote on X, "What a promotional stunt by Team #HiNanna defaming other actors.
