Challenging Star Darshan remained the cynosure of all eyes at the wedding reception of Raanna, brother of popular actress Rakshitha Prem.

Who All Attended Grand Wedding Reception

The wedding reception was held on Saturday evening a day after he tied the knot to fashion designer Rakshitha Kesarkar in a grand wedding ceremony at Palace Grounds, Bengaluru.

Darshan, who is out on bail in Renuka Swamy murder case, attended his first private event after coming out of jail. He was spotted with his wife Vijayalakshmi. The Challenging Star also presented a gift to the newly married and posed for the camera.

The other person who caught the media attention was Ramya, who was considered an one-time rival of Rakshitha.

Ramya is spotted hugging Srinagar Kitty in one of the viral videos and in other video she is seen having a good time with Rakshitha.

Radhika Kumaraswamy, Kishan, Ragini Dwivedi, Dhruva Sarja, Arundhati Nag, Amulya, Indrajith Lankesh, and many others were spotted at the wedding.

The nuptials took place at 12 noon in Aries Lagna on Friday, attended by an array of dignitaries and celebrities from the Kannada film industry.

The wedding was graced by several notable stars, including Ganesh with wife Shilpa, Upendra with his wife Priyanka, Sruthi Hariharan, veteran actor Srinath, actress Samyuktha Hornad, Meghana Raj, Abhishek Ambareesh, Hema Chaudhary, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, Sumithra, Bhavana Rao, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, and many others. Their presence added to the charm of the celebration.

Coincidentally, actress Soundarya Jayamala, daughter of veteran actress Jayamala, also tied the knot on the same day at Palace Grounds with Rishab. This led to several Sandalwood celebrities attending both weddings, making the venue a hub of festivity and glamour.

Raanna, who got engaged to Rakshitha in November 2024, has been in a long-term relationship with her.

Raanna made his acting debut with the 2022 romantic action film Ek Love Ya. The film, directed by his brother-in-law Prem and produced by Rakshitha Prem, was a decent hit. His next movie will be helmed by debutant director Vijay Eeshwar, a former assistant of Prem.

Rakshitha Prem, a renowned actress known for her roles in Appu, Idiot, Dum, Sivamani, Gokanna, Andhrawala, Madhurey, Kalasipyala, and more, last appeared on the big screen in Ek Love Ya in a special role.
