Rakshit Stayed Silent On Breakup With Rashmika Mandanna; As Friends, We Do the Same: Pramod Shetty
Pramod Shetty, currently enjoying the success of his latest film, Laughing Buddha, produced by Rishab Shetty, recently opened up about the failed relationship between Rakshit Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna.
In a recent interview, Pramod Shetty discussed Rashmika's journey in the film industry. She began her acting career in the Kannada film industry with the movie 'Kirik Party'. She got engaged to Rakshit Shetty, her co-star from the film, but the engagement was later called off. Following this, she shifted her focus to Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films, gaining popularity across different film industries.

Commenting on her career and personal choices, Pramod Shetty said, "Our duty is only to grow the plant; once it grows up to become a tree, it is up to it to grow its branches in any direction." He emphasized that Rashmika is a brilliant actress who showcased her talent in her debut film, 'Kirik Party'.
Addressing the end of Rashmika and Rakshit's engagement, Pramod said, "She was supposed to marry Rakshit Shetty, but it was called off. Rakshit has not commented on it to this day, and as his friends, we are also refraining from commenting."
Ever since they broke up, Rashmika has been subject to harsh criticism from netizens. In fact, she was abused non-stop following the announcement of their split.
However, Rakshit's appeal had calm down the situation.
However, Pramod Shetty expressed his displeasure over Rashmika's comments about Kannada, despite being born and raised in Karnataka. He criticized her statement, saying, "Her comments about Kannada were wrong. What you sow, you will eat. Madidunno Maharaya (Meaning: Every action has an equal reaction. If we do something wrong, we have to face the consequences). Let us not comment further on it."
He added, "She lives in Karnataka. No matter what you say about not knowing Kannada, you stay in Karnataka, and you have to come back here, even if you have a house in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, or Dubai."
In an interview earlier, Rashmika had claimed that she could not speak Kannada fluently. This comment had not gone well with a section of people.
