Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 1: Ajay Devgn's much-awaited sequel Raid 2 hit the big screens on May 1, 2025, and opened to impressive numbers. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 marks the return of IRS officer Amay Patnaik, this time going head-to-head with Riteish Deshmukh's Dada Manohar Bhai - a manipulative tycoon with political connections and a ruthless agenda. As per early estimates, the film collected ₹18.25 crore (India net) on its opening day, making it the third-highest Bollywood opener of 2025, only behind Chhaava (₹33.10 Cr) and Sikandar (₹30.06 Cr). It outperformed films like Sky Force, Kesari Chapter 2, and Jaat on Day 1.

In fact, Raid 2 also surpassed Ajay Devgn's recent openers, including Shaitaan, Maidaan, and Auron Mein Dum Kahan Tha. While expectations were modest given the competition and screen share, the film even edged past the opening day collection of Drishyam 2 (₹15.38 Cr), a previous box office hit for Devgn.

Where Will Raid 2 Stream Online?

While fans are rushing to theatres, many are already looking ahead to its OTT release. The good news? According to industry insiders, Raid 2 has locked in a streaming deal with Netflix. The movie is expected to premiere on the OTT platform by late June or early July 2025, following the standard 60-day theatrical window.
