Raghu Dixit Marriage Set for October with Singer Varijashree Venugopal

Kannada's renowned singer and Grammy-nominated vocalist Varijashree Venugopal is all set to tie the knot with popular multilingual folk music singer and music composer Raghu Dixit in a close-knit ceremony.

The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place later this October. The two have been close friends for many years and have performed together on several platforms. They have also lent their voices to songs in films such as Tagaru, Darling, and Aachar & Co., among others.

Their story began with a musical collaboration on "Saaku Innu Saaku," which sparked a friendship that gradually turned into love.

Raghu Dixit shared, "A new beginning gives deep grounding. To be honest, I didn't see this coming. I had prepared myself to live alone for the rest of my life, but life had other plans. Our strong friendship naturally blossomed into love and companionship. We share similar interests, and with the blessings of Varijashree's parents, we are excited to begin this new chapter of our lives together."

Earlier, Raghu Dixit was married to Mayuri Upadhya, a choreographer and dancer. The two got divorced in 2019 and have since gone their separate ways.

Both are looking forward to building their future together.
