Pushpa 2: Rashmika Mandanna Says She Was 'Uncomfortable' While Shooting Allu Arjun Starrer Song 'Peeling'

Despite facing criticism over its choreography, the song "Peelings" from Pushpa 2, performed by Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun, has become a topic of discussion. Rashmika Mand shared her experience working the song, highlighting challenges she faced, her discomfort with being during the dance sequences. She admitted feeling overwhelmed at times but chose to trust her and Allu Arjun, emphasizing the importance her role in the film.

"Most of the time, I felt like I was dancing on Allu Arjun sir. I have a phobia of being lifted, and I wasn't very comfortable with it. It was a bit overwhelming thinking, 'How am I going to do this?'" she expressed. Despite these challenges, Mandanna understood the necessity of these elements for the song and the movie, deciding to proceed with the shoot, bolstered by her trust in the director and co-star Allu Arjun.

Responding to the audience's critique of the song's choreography, Mandanna emphasized the importance of not overthinking her roles to avoid typecasting. She stated, "If I start overthinking or isolating my roles, I would be typecasting myself. I'm here to do my job, and I work to hear the word 'excellent' from my director. That's what matters to me." This perspective reveals her commitment to her work and her desire to meet the expectations of her director over catering to the varied opinions of the public.

Taking to Twitter, Mandanna shared her journey of overcoming her fear of being lifted, a significant challenge during the filming of "Peelings."
