The much-awaited sequel to Pushpa: The Rise is gearing up for a monumental debut, with Pushpa 2 creating waves even before its official release. Starring Allu Arjun in the lead role, the film has garnered an exceptional response in advance ticket bookings, setting new records for a Telugu film.

Record-Breaking Earnings from Advance Bookings

In the two Telugu-speaking states, Pushpa 2 has amassed an impressive Rs 36.69 crore-Rs 19.94 crore from Telangana and Rs 16.75 crore from Andhra Pradesh. Karnataka follows with Rs 8.83 crore, while Maharashtra contributes Rs 7.67 crore. Other states also reported significant earnings: Tamil Nadu (Rs 4.05 crore), Delhi (Rs 3.64 crore), Gujarat (Rs 3.58 crore), Kerala (Rs 2.94 crore), and Uttar Pradesh (Rs 2.59 crore).

Among cities, Hyderabad leads the pack with Rs 14.15 crore from 1,368 shows, followed by Bengaluru with Rs 6.22 crore from 1,008 shows, Vizag-Visakhapatnam with Rs 2.68 crore from 386 shows, and Chennai with Rs 69.33 lakh from 223 shows.

Special Premiere Shows and Ticket Prices

According to India Today, Pushpa 2 tickets have become the highest-priced for a Telugu film. Paid preview shows are scheduled for December 4 at 9:30 pm, with ticket prices set at ₹944 (inclusive of GST) across single screens and multiplexes.

The TDP government in Andhra has granted permission to have six shows of Pushpa 2 to be held across single screens and multiplexes. The price for the tickets are fixed at Rs 324.50 and Rs 413, respectively. For next 12 days, the movie can have five shows at the same prices for the next 12 days, from December 6 to 17.

Scheduled for a grand release on December 5, Pushpa 2 will hit 12,000 screens worldwide, making it the Indian movie with the most IMAX screens. This achievement ensures an immersive viewing experience for audiences globally.

The film has received a U/A certification from the censor board, which suggested minor edits, including the removal of some words and overly violent scenes.

Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2 features Allu Arjun alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, and others. Originally slated for release in August 2023, the film faced delays but is now ready to take the box office by storm.
