Puneeth Rajkumar's Daughters Drithi, Vandita Became Cynosure Of All Eyes At His Birthday Celebration

Lakhs of fans across Karnataka came to pay their respect to the late Puneeth Rajkumar to mark what would have been the 50th birthday of the beloved late actor on Monday.

The day began with Puneeth's family, including his wife Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, daughters Drithi and Vandita, and brothers Shivarajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar, paying their respects at his samadhi (memorial) at Kanteerava Studios.

However, it was Puneeth Rajkumar's daughters Drithi, now 16, and Vandita, now 14, who hogged all the attention.

They stood out as they gracefully participated in the celebrations, capturing everyone's attention. They usually stay out of media glare and only appear during family functions or film-related events of close friends.

Appu's daughter cut his favourite homemade cake and served food for fans who had arrived at the Kanteerava Studios to pay their homage to the actor, who was known as the Power Star of the Kannada film industry.

Puneeth Rajkumar, who passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest in 2022, left a void in the hearts of millions. Even three years later, his fans continue to mourn his loss while celebrating his legacy.

Adding to the emotional atmosphere, a junior artist from Belagavi, who bears a striking resemblance to Puneeth, became a focal point for selfies and memories.

Puneeth's nephew Yuvrajkumar (son of Raghavendra Rajkumar), expressed his gratitude, noting that the love for Puneeth only grows stronger with time. He also highlighted how fans have channeled their admiration into meaningful social work.

The day was not just restricted to celebration as it was marked by various charitable activities, including food donations, free health check-ups, and blood donation camps organized at Kanteerava Studios. Notably, the Appu Youth Brigade distributed books to students and clothes to the needy.

Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar took to social media to express her gratitude, sharing how overwhelmed she was by the love people continue to show for Puneeth. She reflected on the deep connection he had with his fans and how his memory lives on in their hearts.

On this occasion, an official app for the fans was also launched. "The Legacy Continues! We are excited to bring you closer to the heart of Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar with an official app. #PRKStarFandom app is India's first ever Fandom app.A space for fans to remember, celebrate and enjoy the unforgettable moments," Ashwini said in a post on X.

Also, a biography has also been released. Not to forget, Puneeth's Appu was released and met with a great response from the fans.

The celebration was a beautiful blend of remembrance and community spirit, proving that Puneeth Rajkumar's legacy is not just about his stardom but also about the love and kindness he inspired in others.
