Priyanka Chopra Joins Mahesh Babu-Rajamouli’s ‘SSMB29’ Shoot In Odisha

Bollywood-Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has reportedly joined the shooting of SS Rajamouli's upcoming movie, presently referred to as SSMB29.

Priyanka Chopra's latest updates of scenic locations on her Instagram stories have indicated that she is part of the mega-budget Indian movie.

The shooting of the movie is underway at Deomali, Odisha's highest peak, Times Now reported. The breathtaking landscapes of the Eastern Ghats, which resemble the African wilderness, make for an ideal backdrop. Reports suggest the film's storyline is set in Africa, and the region's dense forests and indigenous communities will add authenticity to the narrative.

PS Vinod has been brought on as the film's cinematographer, replacing Rajamouli's long-time collaborator, KK Senthil Kumar. This change has caught the attention of fans, as Senthil Kumar has been a key part of Rajamouli's visual storytelling in past projects.

Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is reportedly playing the role of a baddie in SSMB29. Although his participation remained a mystery for some time, his mother, Mallika Sukumaran, put an end to speculation by confirming his involvement.

In his recent social media post, Sukumaran said, "Finish and hand over film and all marketing assets on your directorial. Get into appearance for your next as an actor. Realise you have long monologues in a language not native to you and start becoming nervous."

With an unofficial star-studded lineup and breathtaking locations, SSMB29 continues to build excitement among cinephiles. An official announcement regarding the cast is awaited, but all signs point to an epic cinematic spectacle in the making.
