Pradeep Ranganathan Slammed For Pulling and Dragging Mamitha Baiju On Stage In Viral Video

Pradeep Ranganathan has come under attack from netizens after a video of him pulling his Dude co-star Mamitha Baiju on stage hit the internet.

In the video, Pradeep is seen pulling her hair and dragging her. The incident occurred, apparently, during the promotion of their movie Dude in Hyderabad.

This behaviour is being condemned by netizens as the clip of the incideent went viral on social media sites. Responding to the video, one user wrote, "@pradeeponelife not acceptable on stage bro. Pulling her hair and dragging her across would've made her uncomfortable for sure."0

Another user asks, "This is not how you promote a movie 🥲 Kudos to the anchor for being honest." The third user added, "On screen toxic masculinity is mimicked in real life 🤬"

The fourth netizen commented, "Chapri behaviour." In a mocking tone, another user said, "In the name of promotion."

However, it appears like the actors were recreating a scene from the movie and the netizens have reacted without understanding the context.

One user said, "Relax! They were trying to enact a scene!" The second added, "It's a scene recreation from the movie."

Another commented, "That's a Scene Recreation from the Trailer." Crticising the person who shared the clip, a fan wrote, This tweet has lacking minimum commonsense. They were asked to recreate a scene from movie which they did. And the dialogue is also from movie. So stop this stupid tweets."

The upcoming movie will hit the screens on Friday. Keerthiswaran-directed film also has Neha Shetty, R Sarathkumar, Hridhu Haroon, Dravid Selvam and others in the cast.
