Sun TV bets big on mass entertainers

Sun TV has lined up a strong roster of star-driven films across the Pongal weekend. On Pongal day (January 15), the channel will kick off with Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam at 11 am, offering a feel-good start to the festival. This will be followed by Sivakarthikeyan's Seemaraja at 3 pm, ensuring a dose of comedy and village-based drama for afternoon viewers. The evening slot belongs to Suriya and Pooja Hegde's Retro, which will air at 6:30 pm, targeting prime-time audiences.

The festive celebrations continue over the next few days. On Mattu Pongal (January 16), Rajinikanth's Annaatthe takes the 6:30 pm slot, while Ajith's Viswasam will be aired on Kaanum Pongal (January 17) at the same time. Wrapping up the holiday weekend, Vishal's Poojai will be broadcast on Sunday, January 18, again at 6:30 pm, keeping the action alive.

Kalaignar TV Delivers a Festival Marathon

Kalaignar TV has created one of the most packed festive schedules. Starting on January 14, it will air Conjuring Kannappan, Love Today, Vadanthi (Part 1) and Diary across the day. On Pongal day, the channel will feature Katta Kusthi, Vadanthi Part 2, Kudumbasthan and Aadhavan.
