Peddi Review: Premiere Show Begins, Official Peddi Movie Review To Be Out Shortly

Ram Charan has teamed up with Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame after his previous movie Game Changer failed to change the game at the box office. After his disastrous movie, he is now hoping to bounce back with his latest venture Peddi.

Peddi is hitting the screens worldwide on Thursday but it is seeing the light of the day through premiere shows in India and foreign countries on Wednesday night. The tickets for the special evening shows in big numbers and the movie has earned over Rs 10 crore from pre-sales alone which shows the craze around the movie.

The premieres shows in Bengaluru and Hyderabad have started and the fans are curiously waiting to get the first reviews from the special shows. In Chennai and Kochi, it begins after 10 am.

The Telugu movie has Kannada superstar Shivaraj Kumar playing an important character. Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is playing the female lead. Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, Boman Irani, Ravi Kishan, Viji Chandrasekhar, Rajatava Dutta, Satya, Ajay Ghosh and others are in the cast.

Oscar Award winning musician AR Rahman has scored the music, R Rathnavelu has handled the cinematography and Naveen Nooli has done the editing.

Instead, he wielded the games of the land-cricket's precision, wrestling's raw strength, and the endurance of a runner's stride. In this fusion of play and defiance, he became more than an athlete; he became a symbol, a living testament to resilience and identity.

After a 20Mins Hero intro seq, Jhanvi comes with Cringe act. Weak Villain. BGM & Songs Gud. Stretched Initial portions. Film picks up only from "Pre-Interval"....

#RamCharan shines as PEDDI with a strong performance, excellent screen presence, and graceful dance moves. #BuchiBabu presents him very well throughout.

The cricket episodes are engaging and work nicely in the narrative.

On the flip side, the emotional portions don't hit as hard as intended. The #JagapathiBabu track adds some weight but doesn't create the desired emotional impact.

Apart from Ram Charan, the supporting characters, including #Divyenndu, #JanhviKapoor, haven't left a strong impression yet.A few abrupt cuts affect the flow.

From the pre-interval block, things start getting interesting and the film picks up momentum. overall it's a decent first half with some good moments and scope for a stronger second half.

Gulte: #Peddi - Neat First Half

Starts off well with story establishment and goes on in a lighter mode from then on. Rai Rai Raa Raa is the highlight and is a treat to watch a star enjoying himself and dancing his heart out. Janhvi Kapoor's episodes were okayish. The 'One Rupee' cricket sequence is great, followed by a very emotionally charged pre-interval and a nice setup for the second half.

Pre-interval to interval is where the film turns emotional and engaging. Until then, most of the first half is routine and cliche with the hero and Jahnvi's track. A couple of matches so far are okay but lack emotional highs.
