Pavithra Gowda Is Kind Woman, Will Not Stoop So Low: Ex-Husband Sanjay Singh On Renuka Swamy's Murder

Sanjay Singh, the ex-husband of Pavithra Gowda, arrested in Renuka Swamy's murder, has broken his silence about his former wife's involvement in the case.

Defending his ex-wife he said, "I want everyone to know that she is not the type of person to be involved in such acts. She is a kind and polite woman. She is a career-oriented girl and far too busy to stoop so low,"

He shared that Pavithra always had big dreams and aspired for success. When asked if he had been in touch with her, Singh replied, "No. The last time I saw and spoke with her was on the day we got divorced in court."

He also said that they got divorced a decade ago and has spoken to their daughter a few times.

The relationship between Pavithra Gowda and Darshan came to light in January when Pavithra posted on social media, indicating their long-term relationship. In the post, she shared pictures with Darshan, captioned: "One decade down; forever to go.♥️♥️ #10year It's been 10years of our relationship Thank you ✨✨ @darshanthoogudeepashrinivas @khushigowda_7 #forever #loveforever #hardtimestogether #10years."

This message indicated that Pavithra and Darshan have been in a relationship for 10 years. In November 2024, she had shared a video from her daughter Khushi's birthday celebration on Instagram where Darshan is seen cutting the cake with her and dancing with her.

However, Darshan's wife Vijaya Lakshmi slammed Pavithra Gowda and wrote, "I hope this woman has to come into her senses before posting somebody else's husband picture,it talks about her character and moral standing, knowing that the man is marrried she still choose to come and stay for their own personal needs and agenda... These images clearly show kushi gowda is the daughter of Pavithra and sanjay Singh....

Renuka Swamy, a man working at a medical shop, is allegedly murdered by Darshan's aides. Last Friday, he had alleged sent an obscene message to her which irked Darshan.

Renuka Swamy was then kidnapped and brought to Bengaluru. He was brutally assaulted by the actor's aides resulting in his death. The body was then thrown at a drainage.

In the legal proceedings, Pavithra Gowda is identified as A1 or accused number 1 and Darshan as A2 or accused number 2 in the murder case.
