Palash Muchhal Makes First Appearance After Cheating Controversy and Delayed Marriage with Smriti Mandhana

Singer-composer Palash Muchhal stepped out publicly for the first time since the postponement of his wedding with Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana. He was spotted at the airport on Monday with his family members in a video that quickly went viral.

The couple had been set to marry on November 23, but the ceremony was halted after Smriti's father fell ill and had to be rushed to the hospital on the day of the wedding.

Health Emergencies Forced Postponement

A day after the disrupted ceremony, Palash himself was admitted to a hospital in Sangli, Smriti's hometown, before being shifted to Mumbai for further care. Smriti's business manager confirmed that the wedding was postponed due to the unexpected medical emergency that impacted both families.

The situation drew widespread attention when Smriti removed all wedding photos from her Instagram account. Leading up to the big day, the families had celebrated the Mehendi and Haldi ceremonies with enthusiasm, and numerous videos from the festivities had circulated widely online.

Families Await a New Date

Both Smriti's father and Palash have now been discharged from the hospital, but no fresh wedding date has been announced. In the midst of the speculation, social media users noticed that both Smriti and Palash added the "nazar" emoticon to their Instagram bios, sparking further curiosity.

Palash's mother, Amita, has shared several updates over the past few days and expressed optimism about the wedding taking place soon. His sister, Palak, also urged people on Instagram to respect their privacy and refrain from making assumptions during a sensitive time.

Despite the disruption, she remains hopeful. "Smriti and Palash dono takleef mein hain... Palash dreamt of coming home with his bride. I had even planned a special welcome... Everything will be fine, shaadi bohot jaldi hogi," Amita Muchhal said.
