India's entry, Anuja, made it to the Oscars but lost in the Best Live Action Short Film category to I'M Not A Robot, a film co-produced by Guneet Monga and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. This year, comedian Conan O'Brien hosted the ceremony for the first time.
