Only Shah Rukh Khan And Sex Sells In India: Raj Kundra After Removing Mask

After wearing a mask for several months, businessman Raj Kundra, husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, revealed his face on Wednesday during the trailer launch event of his movie 'UT 69'.

Addressing the media, Raj Kundra said, "I wore the mask out of pain. The media trial was painful. It was more painful than my legal trial that's going on. I don't blame you (addressing media) as you were doing your work. But it was so painful that I wanted to cover up. I don't want to be spotted. I don't want to get clicked."

Kundra with his wife Shilpa Shetty had arrived at the press meet with his helmet-like mask and removed it in front of the media.

Based on Raj Kundra's life, the story of the movie revolves around the allegations against him of producing porn content and his journey leading to imprisonment.

Talking about what works in India and Bollywood, he said, "Only two things work in Bollywood and this country, Shah Rukh Khan and sex."

Kundra was arrested in the case in July 2021 in a case related to alleged creation and distribution of porn films through apps in a case related to alleged creation and distribution of porn films through apps.

Kundra was booked under Indian Penal Code sections 420 (cheating), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) and sections of the Information Technology Act and Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
