Now, Viral Deepfake Video Shows Kajol Allegedly Changing Outfit On Camera

After Deepfake videos featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Katrina Kaif went viral, another video impersonating Kajol has surfaced online, raising concerns about the misuse of AI technology. The viral video shows the actress supposedly changing clothes in front of the camera.

Originally, the Deepfake video showcasing a morphed Kajol featured English social media influencer Rosie Breen. This video was initially shared on Breen's TikTok page as part of the Get Ready With Me (GRWM) trend.

This comes after an ongoing investigation into Rashmika Mandanna's viral Deepfake video, which followed a similar pattern. In that instance, Rashmika's face was superimposed onto the body of British-Indian Instagram influencer Zara Patel.

Expressing her distress over the incident, Rashmika highlighted the potential harm caused by misused technology, expressing fear for those vulnerable to such acts of identity theft. Urging swift action, she emphasized the need to address the situation promptly to prevent further victims.

Recently, the Delhi Police filed an FIR and requested Meta to disclose the URL of the account responsible for disseminating the Deepfake video. Hemant Tiwari, DCP of the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit, also mentioned that the police sought information about individuals who shared the fabricated video on social media, as reported by the media.
