Not Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha Set To Marry Chandigarh Businessman?

Actress Trisha is once again making headlines-this time for her rumored wedding plans. Amid ongoing speculation about her relationship with actor-turned-politician Vijay, fresh reports suggest that Trisha may be preparing to tie the knot with a businessman from Chandigarh.

According to Siasat.com, Trisha's parents have given their blessing to the match, and the two families reportedly share a long-standing connection. While details about the groom remain under wraps, the news has stirred curiosity among fans.

Trisha herself recently addressed the wedding chatter, stating she's open to marriage if she finds the right person. However, she added that "the right time hasn't come yet," leaving fans guessing about her next move. Her parents, meanwhile, have yet to comment on the rumors.

Over the past two years, Trisha has frequently been linked to Vijay, especially since his entry into politics. The duo was spotted together last year at actress Keerthy Suresh's wedding in Goa, fueling speculation after photos of them at an airport security checkpoint went viral. A leaked flight manifest listing both their names only intensified the buzz.

Despite the rumors, Trisha continues to share photos with Vijay on social media, suggesting that their bond-whether personal or professional-remains unaffected.
This isn't the first time Trisha's personal life has drawn public attention. She was previously engaged to entrepreneur Varun Manian in 2015, but the engagement was called off shortly after. Reports at the time cited differences over her decision to continue acting post-marriage.

It's worth noting that Vijay has been married to Sangeetha Sornalingam since 1999, and the couple has two children-Jason Sanjay and Divya Saasha.

However, the link-up rumours with Trisha is seen by many as a conspiracy by Vijay's rivals to tarnish his image. Moreover, her absence from his political events has given fodder to his rivals to target him.

In August, DMK MLA KP Shankar used a government function in Tiruvottiyur to target the Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) chief.

While addressing the gathering, Shankar dragged Vijay's film associations with actresses Trisha and Keerthy Suresh into his criticism. He mocked the actor's political understanding, saying, "What does Vijay, who is busy wondering whether to hang out with Trisha or Keerthy Suresh, know about the DMK party?"

The MLA then shifted focus to Vijay's personal life, questioning his marriage to Sangeetha. Without naming her directly, Shankar alleged that Vijay, who is unable to "take care of his own wife, father, and mother," cannot be expected to protect the people of Tamil Nadu if voted to power.
