New Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada Movies/Series On OTT In July Last Week

Cinegoers will have plenty of entertainment on OTT platform this weekend. Not just Hindi, but there are new content in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages, this weekend.

The lineup includes five Hindi movies, three Tamil films, and a series. Telugu and Malayalam viewers can enjoy two films each, while Kannada audiences will have one new release.

List of Tamil movies and series:

'Weapon' On Aha

Vasanth Ravi's 'Weapon' is out on Aha Tamil on July 26. Directed by Guhan Seniappan, the film hit theatres on June 7. The film tells the story of a superhuman played by Sathyaraj, who is chased by a bounty hunter essayed by Vasanth Ravi.

Besides Sathyaraj and Vasanth Ravi, Weapon features an ensemble cast, including Rajiv Menon, Tanya Hope, Rajeev Pillai, Yashika Aannand, Mime Gopi, Kaniha, Gajaraj, Syed Subhan, Baradwaj Rangan, Veluprabhakaran, Maya Krishnan, Shiyas Kareem, Benito Franklin, Raghu Esakki and Others.

'Kaazh on Aha Tamil'
'Kaazh' depicts the life and struggles of a couple in Australia as they work towards building their dream home. The film explores the numerous disappointments they face and the lengths they go to achieve their dreams. Also, the story intertwines with the challenges faced by a student in Australia trying to find his footing. Yugendran Vasudevan, Siddarth Anbarasu, and Mimi Leonard are part of the cast.

'Chutney Sambar' (Tamil) on Hotstar
'Chutney Sambar' is a new series directed by evergreen filmmaker Radha Mohan. It stars Yogi Babu, Chandran, Vani Bhojan, Nithin Sathya, Elango Kumaravel, Myna Nandhini and others. It is out on Disney+Hotstar.

'Grandma' on Aha Tamil
'Grandma' is being premiered on Aha Tamil on July 23. The film stars Sonia Aggarwal in the lead role, and is directed by Shijinlal SS. Also, the film is available on OTTplay Premium as well.

'Yevam' On Aha
Chandini Chowdhary's Yevam hit the screens on June 14. Prakash Dantuluri-directorial film has Vasistha Simha in the role of villain. The murder mystery is out on Aha.

'Bharathanatyam' On Aha
The comic caper Bharathanatyam, directed by KVR Mahendra of Dorasaani fame, was released theatrically in April this year. The film will begin streaming on Aha from July 27. Bharathanatyam, which marked the debut of actor-writer Surya Tej Aelay, tells the story of an aspiring filmmaker who gets embroiled in the underbelly nexus of crime, politics, and moviemaking.

Kannada Movies

'Chef Chidambara' On Prime
Aniruddha Jatkar-starrer 'Chef Chidambara' is a thriller drama directed by M Anand Raj. It also has Rachel David and Nidhi Subbaiah. Released in theatres on June 14, 2024, the film is now available on Amazon Prime.

'Pavi Caretaker' On Manorama
Dileep's latest film 'Pavi Caretaker' is out on Manorama Max. The family entertainer, directed by Vineeth Kumar, hit the big screens across the state on April 26.

'Swakaryam Sambhavabahulam'
Swakaryam Sambhavabahulam is a 2024 Malayalam movie that is available on ManoramaMAX. The film tells the tale of a middle-aged security guard at a mental asylum named Ravi (Jeo Baby) who investigates the disappearance of his daughter's husband, Pushparajan (Sajin Cherukayil).

'Mr & Mrs Mahi' On Netflix
Following a successful theatrical run, Mr & Mrs Mahi, starring Janhvi Kapoor and RajKummar Rao, is set to begin its OTT journey. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film will be available for streaming on Netflix India starting Friday (July 26).

'Ek Kori Prem Katha' On Jio Cinema
Chinmay Purohit-directed Ek Kori Prem Katha stars Akshay Oberoi, Arvind Chaudhary and Gayatri Manish. It is out on Jio Cinema.

'Chalti Rahe Zindagi' On Zee5
Chalti Rahe Zindagi, starring Indraneil Sengupta, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Seema Biswas, Siddhant Kapoor, Manjari Fadnnis and Rohit Khandelwal, is streaming on Zee5.

'Bloody Ishq' On Hotstar
Vikram Bhatt's 'Bloody Ishq' stars Avika Gor and Vardhan Puri in lead roles. The horror thriller has been produced by Mahesh Bhatt. The film is out on Disney+ Hotstar.

'Bhaiyya Ji' On Zee5
Following its theatrical release in May, Bhaiyya Ji will begin streaming on Zee5 from July 26 (Friday). Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, Bhaiyya Ji marks Manoj Bajpayee's 100th film. The movie is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Samiksha Oswal, Shael Oswal, Shabana Raza Bajpayee, and Vikram Khakhar.
