Netflix Unveils Exciting 2024 Lineup: From Star-Studded Dramas To Thrilling Documentaries

Netflix unveiled its star-studded and extravagant slate for 2024 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heera Mandi: The Diamond Bazaar.

The larger-than-life and grand spectacle revisits the courtesans of Heera Mandi in an epic saga of love, revenge, power and struggle. Starring Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Richa Chadha, the show also marks the filmmaker's digital debut.

Actor Manisha Koirala who collaborates with the filmmaker 25 years after his directorial debut Khamoshi said "I am working with him after 25 years and it can't get better than that. It's been amazing to see his journey, I have seen him grow as India's best filmmaker."

Actor Aditi Rao Hydari who had worked with him Padmaavat called it a life-altering experience.
"He deep dives into everything. He lives and breathes the story and character. It's so much more beyond the sets and grand clothes."

Making her entry on stage in a pistachio green pantsuit, actor Kriti Sanon is flying high with the success of her latest "Tujhe Dekha Toa Uljha Jiya". The actor who recently received the best actor award for "Mimi" turns producer with the thriller Do Patti.

The film written by Haseen Dilruba writer Kanika Dhillon, stars Kajol and Kriti in pivotal roles.
"For me, a thriller is an exciting genre, we are all grey characters. 'Do Patti' is my first thriller but is driven by emotions.

After 'Mimi', I was not getting a multi-layered character to play, and this was just the role I wanted to sink my teeth into", said the actor.

On turning producer Kriti revealed it was just a natural progression. " There is always a stage in life when you are wondering what next, what more and turning producer was a step in that direction to extend my creative wings."

Taapsee Pannu returns as Rani in the much-awaited sequel of the 2021 hit, 'Haseen Dilruba', in 'Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba'. The film brings back Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal steps in as a new character.

"The love this film has got is unprecedented and all I can say is much more twisted," says Vikrant Massey.

Taapsee Pannu reveals that her character is stronger and a bit more loving. After the success of 'Railway Men', Yash Raj Films announced its collaboration with the streaming platform Maharaj and Madala Murders which also marks actor Vaani Kapoor's digital debut.

"I am just so excited, a thriller and action is a genre I have never done before and it has given me a chance to delve into a character's psyche", said the actor.

Actor Ravi Kishan who makes his OTT debut in the courtroom comedy 'Mamla Legal Hai', in which he plays a swashbuckling lawyer, says he wanted to create an aura of stardom, a lawyer with swag".

Ranbir Kapoor's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahani is all set to make her debut on TV in Season 3 of 'Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives'. The jewellery designer was asked the classic 'Delhi or Mumbai' question, to which she responded "I am a fence sitter", with a laugh adding it was always vada pav and cutting chai for over anything.

A documentary on the desi king of hip hop and rap, Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous will have the singer deep-diving into his rollercoaster career, the highs and the lows.

Also announced were second seasons of hit shows such as 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein', 'Khakhee', 'The Bengal Chapter'.

The other titles to premiere include Anubhav Sinha's IC814: The Kandhar Hijack, Luv Ranjan's Wild Wild Punjab, Neeraj Pandey's Director To Digital directorial 'Sikander Ka Muqaddar'.
