My Role In Vijay's Thalapathy 69 Is Quite Interesting: Shivaraj Kumar Ahead of Bhairathi Ranagal Release
Kannada actor Shivaraj Kumar, who is gearing up for the release of his next movie Bhairathi Ranagal, has revealed that he will be playing an interesting role in Tamil actor Vijay's upcoming movie presently referred to as Thalapathy 69.
"The role in Vijay 69 is quite interesting, but I don't know how it will come together, considering my dates and schedules. It is said this will be his last film, but, personally, I think he should not call it quits just yet. As a friend and well-wisher, I think Vijay is a fantastic actor and good human being as well. His ambition is fantastic and I respect that. I hope I get to be a part of his film," Radio Mirchi quoted him as saying.

Thalapathy 69 is said to be the last movie of Vijay as he has forayed into politics. The actor founded his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), in February and has been gradually ramping up his political activities. The party's first state conference was held last month and he plans to contest in 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly polls.
The upcoming movie has Bollywood actor Bobby Deol playing the role of a villain while Pooja Hegde will be seen doing the role of Vijay's love interest. Gautham Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani and others are part of the cast.
