Mumbai: Bollywood Stars Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Sugandha Mishra And Remo D'Souza Get Death Threats
Kapil Sharma, a well-known comedian, has reportedly received a death threat via email from Pakistan, according to police sources. This incident places him alongside other celebrities like Rajpal Yadav, Sugandha Mishra, and Remo D'Souza, who have also been targeted recently. An FIR has been lodged with Amboli Police against an unidentified individual under section 351(3) of BNS. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
The threatening email was sent from Pakistan and signed off by someone named 'BISHNU'. It stated, "We are monitoring your recent activities and we believe it is important that we bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you, we urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality." The sender demanded a response from the celebrities within eight hours or they would face consequences both personally and professionally.

Celebrity Threats Under Investigation
Mumbai Police are treating these threats with high urgency as multiple celebrities have been targeted in quick succession. Kapil Sharma's complaint follows those filed by Sugandha Mishra and Remo D'Souza after receiving similar emails. The police are working diligently to uncover the source of these threats and ensure the safety of those involved.
In a separate incident last year, politician Baba Siddique was shot dead near his residence in Mumbai's Bandra area. The murder was claimed by the gang of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Following this event, actor Salman Khan increased his security measures, including installing bullet-proof windows at his home.
Recent Attack on Saif Ali Khan
Last week, actor Saif Ali Khan faced a violent attack at his Bandra home during the early hours of Thursday. He was stabbed six times and sustained serious injuries. Doctors successfully removed a 2.5-inch knife from his wound during treatment at Lilavati Hospital. Saif returned home on Tuesday evening (January 21), where he greeted fans and paparazzi outside his residence.
Saif Ali Khan also met Bhajan Singh Rana, an auto driver who rushed him to the hospital after the stabbing incident on Wednesday night. This act of bravery by Rana has been widely appreciated as it played a crucial role in ensuring Saif received timely medical attention.
