Mumbai: Bollywood Actor Sonu Sood's Wife, Nephew Injured In Road Accident

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood's family on Monday evening met with a serious road accident. According to the reports, Sonu Sood's wife Sonali Sood, her sister and nephew were traveling on the Mumbai-Nagpur highway, when their car collided with a truck near the Songaon Police Station.

The collision was severe, leaving the vehicle in a state of near-total destruction. However, what could have been a tragic event was miraculously transformed by the timely deployment of airbags. These critical safety features prevented what might have been catastrophic injuries, offering a glimmer of hope in a moment of potential disaster. Photographs from the crash site revealed the extent of the vehicular damage, making the survivors' relatively unscathed condition all the more extraordinary.

Medical professionals at Max Hospital in Nagpur quickly took charge of the situation. Sonali and her nephew were admitted and are currently under close observation. The medical team has outlined a careful monitoring period of 48 to 72 hours, ensuring their comprehensive recovery. While Sonali's sister escaped with minor injuries, the incident has understandably created significant concern among the family's supporters and well-wishers.

The accident brings into focus the Soods' deeply rooted personal history. Long before Sonu Sood became a prominent figure in the film industry, he and Sonali's love story began in Nagpur. She was a student in the city when they first met, with Sonu himself being an engineering student at the time. Their relationship blossomed, leading to their marriage on September 25, 1996. Responding to the emergency, Sonu Sood immediately rushed to Nagpur to be by his wife's side, arriving the night of the accident. Nagpur Police Commissioner Ravindra Singal officially confirmed the details of the incident, while Sonu's spokesperson merely acknowledged the occurrence, stating that the actor was currently unavailable.
