Actor Mouni Roy has finally broken her silence on one of the most persistent rumours surrounding her personal life, just weeks after announcing her separation from former husband Suraj Nambiar.

Without hesitation, Mouni replied, "Oh, that I am gay."

"I feel very lucky that I have always had friends and family who have stood by me like a rock," she said.
