Mohanlal's Drishyam 3 Is Coming To OTT Sooner Than You Think

Less than four weeks after drawing crowds to cinemas, Drishyam 3 is already making its way to OTT streaming platform.

Amazon Prime Video has announced that the Mohanlal-led thriller will start streaming on OTT on June 18, 2026, marking a quick digital turnaround for one of Malayalam cinema's biggest releases this year. The film will stream in Malayalam, with dubbed versions available in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

The OTT debut follows a strong theatrical run. According to the makers, Drishyam 3 has crossed Rs 330 crore worldwide in its first month, extending the franchise's remarkable box-office track record. A commemorative poster released to mark the milestone described the achievement as "A Milestone Beyond Borders".

Mohanlal shared a message on X, noting how a story that originated in Kerala went on to resonate with audiences across languages and regions. The actor thanked viewers for supporting the series over its 13-year journey.

''Carried Across Generations. What began as a story from Kerala found its way across languages, borders, and millions of hearts. Thirteen years and three chapters later, this journey continues to create history. Thank you for making it your own. #Drishyam,'' he wrote.

What began in 2013 as a modest Malayalam thriller has since evolved into one of Indian cinema's most successful franchises, spawning remakes across multiple languages while keeping Georgekutty's story at its centre. The third instalment revisits the character and his family more than a decade after audiences were first introduced to them.

Released on May 21, coinciding with Mohanlal's birthday, the film reunited director Jeethu Joseph with core cast members Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil and Siddique.

With its theatrical run still underway in several markets, Drishyam 3 will now look to expand its reach further when it arrives on Prime Video on June 18.
