Manoj Bajpayee's 'Family Man' Is Back

Amazon Prime has made a big announcement on Monday! Well, the much-awaited 'The Family Man' series is back with the third season.

The makers have formally announced that the shooting of the third season has begun. Announcing the news, Amazon Prime, on Instagram, shared pictures of Manoj Bajpayee sitting with the makers and wrote, "#TFM3W??? us: shoot begins drop your excitement."

In the series directed by Raj and DK, the 55-year-old actor portrays Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man leading a dual life as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional division of the National Investigation Agency.

Penned by Suman Kumar and Raj & DK, the highly anticipated third season will reunite many of the original cast members, including Priyamani (Suchitra Tiwari), Sharib Hashmi (JK Talpade), Ashlesha Thakur (Dhriti Tiwari), Vedant Sinha (Atharv Tiwari), among others. It is produced under Raj & DK's D2R Films banner.

'The Family Man: Season 1' debuted on Amazon Prime Video on September 20, 2019. The second season premiered on the streamer on June 4, 2021. However, the makers have not announced the date of its premiere.

Nonetheless, the update has left fans extremely excited.

Another netizen stated, "Finally Sri & TASC are in action." Sharing his excitement over the announcement, one user stated, "Soo much excited about this. Thank you!"

However, a user is not happy with long breaks between the seasons in a franchise. The person said, "Very unreasonable gaps between seasons. Seriously. Kills the excitement. Or do you guys do it intentionally so that everyone watches the previous seasons again for context."
