Malayalam Actor Vishnu Prasad Dies After Health Battle; Fans, Colleagues Pay Tribute

Malayalam film and television actor Vishnu Prasad has sadly passed away. The news of his death was confirmed on social media by fellow actor Kishor Satya, who shared the update on his Facebook page.

In his post, Kishor wrote, "Dear all, a very sad news... Vishnu Prasad has passed away. He had been undergoing treatment for an illness for some time. Condolences... Praying that his family finds the strength to cope with this untimely loss."

Vishnu Prasad had been critically ill for the past few days. According to the Madhyamam report, he was suffering from a serious liver-related illness. His daughter was willing to donate part of her liver for a transplant, but the treatment required a large amount of money, around Rs 30 lakh. While the family was able to get some emergency help from the serial actors' group Aatma, they were still trying to raise the remaining amount through online donations and other means. Sadly, he passed away before the treatment could be completed.

Vishnu Prasad was known for his powerful performances and the emotional depth he brought to his roles. He made his debut in the film Kaasi and later acted in well-known Malayalam films like Kai Ethum Doorath, Runway, Mampazhakkalam, Lion, and Ben Johnson. His work was appreciated by critics and audiences alike.
