Malayalam Actor Meghanathan Dies At 60
Malayalam actor Meghanathan has passed away on Thursday. He was aged 60.
The actor breathed his last at a private hospital in Kozhikode, where he was undergoing treatment for a lung-related illness, according to a report in Manorama. is survived by his wife, Susmitha, and daughter, Parvathi.

Meghanathan was the third son of veteran actor Balan K Nair, who won the National Film Award for Best Actor in 1981 for his role as Govindan in the film Oppol.
Making his debut in 1983 with the film Asthram, Meghanathan carved a niche for himself in the Malayalam film industry over a career spanning three decades. He appeared in more than 50 films, many of which were beloved by audiences.
Some of his notable works include Panchagni, Chamayam, Rajadhani, Bhoomigeetham, Chenkol, Malappuram Haji Mahanaya Joji, Prayikkara Pappan, Udyanapaalakam, Ee Puzhayum Kadannu, and Vaasthavam.
