He has shared a post in which he has batted for the adoption of embracing technology to record the evidence and share it with the concerned family and people to have transparency.

Darshan's recent arrest in the Renuka Swamy murder case has garnered nationwide attention, prompting a call for impartiality and transparency in the investigation. There is widespread anxiety and speculation among Renuka Swamy's family, the public, TV media, and Darshan's fans. It's imperative that the police embrace modern technology to ensure transparency in such high-profile cases, he said in the letter shared on his Facebook page.

"In any case, it's imperative that investigations are video-recorded, and authorities should be legally obliged to share these findings with concerned family members. Gone are the days of recording findings on paper; with modern technology, everything should be video-recorded and live-streamed for transparency.

When public figures are involved, it's even more crucial that investigation videos are periodically disclosed to the public, ensuring transparency and thwarting corruption, evidence tampering, and undue influence. Only then can clarity prevail for Renuka Swamy's family, the public, TV channels, and Darshan's fans. This approach ensures justice for the victim," he concluded.

On June 8, the aides of Darshan allegedly kidnapped Renuka Swamy from Chitradurga and brought him to Bengaluru to punish him for sending obscene message to actor's friend Pavithra Gowda. He was locked inside the shed and brutally assaulted, leading to his death.

His body was thrown into a drainage. However, the cops' investigation has led to the arrest of 17 people including Darshan and Pavithra Gowda.

On Sunday, Sudeep responded to the incident saying that the culprit should get punishment and Renuka Swamy's family should get justice.
