Huma Qureshi on Pay Disparity

In an earlier conversation with India Today, Huma Qureshi spoke openly about pay inequality in the industry. Despite leading the series and being central to its success, she revealed that her compensation is still significantly lower compared to male actors in similar OTT projects.

When asked about stars reportedly earning up to ₹45 crore for streaming roles, she pointed out that there is no real justification for the gender gap. "It's just the way it is," she said, adding that she still hopes ongoing discussions and awareness may bring change.
