Lubber Pandhu Released On OTT: Where To Watch It Online?

After much anticipation, the hit Tamil movie Lubber Pandhu has finally made its OTT debut on Disney+ Hotstar.

Originally set to stream on platforms like Simply South from October 18, the film's digital release was delayed due to its ongoing success in theaters. Now, fans can enjoy Lubber Pandhu not only in Tamil but also in Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.

The postponement was initially explained by Simply South, who shared, "Since Lubber Pandhu is still performing exceptionally well in theaters, we are postponing its streaming release. The new streaming date will be announced later on our social media handles." This led to further waiting for international fans, particularly those outside India eager to catch the movie online.

Lubber Pandhu first hit theaters on September 20 and became an unexpected box office success, despite competing with big films like Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan and Karthi's Meiyazhagan. Its appeal lay in its engaging story about street cricket and its handling of social issues. Directed by debutant Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, the movie follows Anbu, a talented cricketer whose aspirations are challenged by caste discrimination.
