Sharing the teaser, Yash said, "'What you seek is seeking you' - Rumi A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups."
The promotional video has also announced the release date of the movie as April 10, 2025. The team has set a 16-month deadline to bring it before the audience.
Sources say that 'Toxic' deals around the drug mafia and is primarily set in Goa. The movie, like 'KGF', will be made in at least five languages - Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Hindi.
It is interesting to note that this is for the first time that Yash is working with a female filmmaker. More importantly, he zeroed in on her subject despite getting scripts from some of the leading filmmakers from India including Shankar and Puri Jagannath.
Geetu Mohandas is known for her works in the Malayalam film industry. She has directed the Hindi road film 'Liar's Dice' and the action thriller 'Moothon'. The movie is bankrolled by KVN Productions which has made movies such as 'Pogaru' and 'Bytwo Love'.
After the gigantic success of 'KGF' series, he has taken his own sweet time to finalise his next project.
As per the latest reports, Sai Pallavi will be playing the female lead, and will make her debut in the Sandalwood industry. While the cast is yet to be officially confirmed, fans are already buzzing with excitement over the prospect of this dynamic on-screen pairing.
Sai Pallavi, a versatile actress recognized for her diverse roles, recently declined a part in Naga Chaitanya's 'Thandel' but is rumoured to be considering projects with both Naga Chaitanya and Ram Charan.
The names of the cast and crew are under wraps although speculations claim that the movie will have three female leads.
