Liam Payne's Autopsy Report Confirms Former One Direction Singer Died Of Multiple Trauma
The Argentinian prosecutor's office has confirmed that the former One Direction star passed away from multiple traumas, leading to severe bleeding after falling from a third-floor balcony at a hotel in Buenos Aires.
Authorities are currently interviewing five witnesses to reconstruct the events prior to the fall, which reportedly occurred while Payne was alone, according to a report by The Guardian.

Liam Payne died of multiple traumas
After the head of Buenos Aires emergency services disclosed that Payne's death was the result of "a cranial fracture and extremely severe injuries", a new autopsy has confirmed that his head trauma proved fatal, prompting an ongoing investigation.
Also, substances discovered in his hotel room suggest the potential involvement of alcohol and drugs. "Payne died of multiple traumas and internal and external bleeding," stated the report.
'Questionable Death'
The post-autopsy report from Argentina, shared on Thursday and reported by Rolling Stone, stated that the case is being treated as a "questionable death".
It added, "Although everything indicates that the musician was alone when the fall occurred, he seemed to be experiencing some sort of episode related to substance abuse," the statement, translated from Spanish, revealed.
Forensic experts determined that the 25 injuries found during the autopsy were consistent with those expected from a fall from a significant height (as Payne reportedly fell from the third floor of the hotel). They emphasised that the head injuries were fatal, while the internal and "external bleeding in the skull, chest, abdomen, and limbs also contributed to his death".
'Narcotics and alcohol' influence detected
Although the report notes that forensics are awaiting further results, including "histopathological, biochemical, and toxicological" analyses to better understand the circumstances surrounding the former One Direction member's death, it also mentioned the presence of narcotics and alcohol in the initial investigations.
Damaged furniture and objects found in Payne's hotel room are under investigation, following a 911 call in which a distressed manager informed the police of the star's erratic behaviour, allegedly under the influence of drugs, according to hotel staff.
'No evidence of foul play'
As of now, there is no evidence to suggest any suspicion or foul play in the singer's death. His visit to Argentina, originally intended for two days with his girlfriend, extended to a week after he attended Niall Horan's concert.
Despite some fans raising concerns due to Payne's history of bullying and legal issues, the report concludes that there is no indication of third-party involvement.
Besides, the way Payne landed suggested he "did not assume a defensive posture to protect himself," the report stated, as per Rolling Stone.
