Fans of Korean dramas are in for a treat this October as Kim Woo-bin and Bae Suzy reunite on screen after nearly a decade. Their much-anticipated fantasy romantic comedy, Genie, Make a Wish, will premiere on October 3, 2025, exclusively on Netflix, coinciding with the Chuseok holiday.

Netflix Korea confirmed the release through posters shared on X, writing: "Come, to corruption! Kim Woo-bin and Suzy's life-and-death fantasy romantic comedy, premiering October 3." The series is directed by Lee Byeong-heon and penned by renowned writer Kim Eun-sook. Notably, this marks the duo's comeback as co-stars after their 2016 hit Uncontrollably Fond.

Plotline of 'Genie, Make a Wish'

According to IMDb, the story follows a genie named Jinn (played by Kim Woo-bin), who awakens after a thousand years. He finds himself bound to a new master, Ka-young (played by Bae Suzy), who is portrayed as stoic and impassive. The drama weaves together themes of fantasy, comedy, and romance, offering a fresh spin on the genie-master dynamic.

The supporting cast includes Ahn Eun-jin, Steve Sanghyun Noh, and Go Gyu-pil, who will play key roles alongside the lead pair.
