Will Sudeep Host Bigg Boss Kannada 12? Here's What Kiccha Says

Actor Kichcha Sudeep has spoken about two hot topics: the rumours about him hosting Bigg Boss Kannada 12 and the controversy over Kamal Haasan's comments on the Kannada born out of Tamil language.

Speculation is rampant about Sudeep's return as host for 'Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12.' Despite previously stating during Season 11 that he wouldn't return, reports suggest his comeback depends on certain conditions being met by the channel. One key condition is reportedly enforcing strict use of Kannada on the show.

When asked about these rumours, Sudeep was non-committal. Speaking to an event organised by a Kannada news channel, he mentioned it wasn't the right time to delve into details but assured that he would eventually clarify everything. He neither confirmed nor denied specifics but noted some circulating information was accurate while some were "far from reality."

Addressing Kamal Haasan's Remarks

Sudeep also broke his silence on Kamal Haasan's controversial statement claiming Kannada originated from Tamil. The Kannada film industry had faced criticism for not responding earlier. The Huccha star explained their silence wasn't due to lack of unity or courage.

He stated, "Don't think that we are not united just because we are not speaking. We are united because we are not speaking." He elaborated that the industry was in shock and unsure how to react, torn between defending their language and respecting Kamal Haasan, a veteran artist who has contributed to Kannada cinema.

Rejecting accusations of cowardice, Sudeep defiantly questioned, "We are men born in the land of men. Who should we be afraid of?" He suggested questions about defending Karnataka's honour should be directed at politicians in power. "Ask those who hold the entire power of Karnataka and sit in the Vidhana Soudha," he concluded.

On the work front, Sudeep, who delivered a hit movie in the form of Max, has a few movies in his kitty. Notable among them is Billa Ranga Baasha, directed by Anup Bhandari.
