Kerala State Film Awards Declared: Check Full Winners' List

Prithviraj-starrer 'Aadujeevitham (Goat Life)' emerged as a major winner at the Kerala State Film Awards 2023, securing five prestigious awards. The film, known for its artistic excellence, was also recognized as the best popular film with artistic quality.

Renowned filmmaker Blessy was awarded the title of Best Director for his outstanding work on 'Aadujeevitham', while Prithviraj's brilliant portrayal of Najeeb, a migrant worker in the desert, earned him the Best Actor (Male) award.

Sunil K S took home the Best Cinematographer award for his breathtaking visuals that beautifully captured the harsh yet captivating desert landscape.

Meanwhile, Mammootty's 'Kaathal: The Core' was honoured as the Best Film of the year, further showcasing the high-quality storytelling in Malayalam cinema.

In the Best Actor (Female) category, the award was shared between two talented actresses - Urvashi, for her role in Ullozhukk, and Beena R Chandran, for her performance in 'Thadavu'.

Other notable films in contention this year included Mohanlal's 'Neru', Suresh Gopi's 'Garudan', 'Falimy', 'Pookkalam', 'Sesham Mike-il Fathima', 'Gaganachari', 'Pranaya Vilasam', 'Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham', 'Neymar', 'Ottu', and '18-Plus'.

The jury was headed by veteran filmmaker Sudhir Mishra and a total of160 movies were in consideration.
