The third edition of the Kannada Chalanachitra Cup (KCC) was kick-started with a bang on Saturday. Six teams are competing in the event which will have the participation of many stars of Sandalwood including Sudeep and Shivaraj Kumar.

Former cricket stalwarts gracing the tournament include Suresh Raina (India), Brian Lara (West Indies), Chris Gayle (West Indies), Subramaniam Badrinath (India), Herschelle Gibbs (South Africa), and Tillakaratne Dilshan (Sri Lanka) are participating in the tournament played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Karnataka.

The teams participating in the event are: Sudeep-captained Hoysala Eagles, Shivaraj Kumar-led Rashtrakuta Panthers, Daali Dhananjaya's Kadamba Lions, Ganesh's Ganga Warriors, Upendra's Wodeyar Chargers and Duniya Vijay's Vijayanagara Patriots.
