'Kantara Chapter 1' First Look & Teaser Out: Get A Glimpse To Rishab Shetty's Avatar

The first look poster and a teaser of Rishab Shetty's much-awaited 'Kantara - Chapter 1', popularly known as 'Kantara 2', was released on Monday at 12.25 pm.

Going by the promotional material, it looks like Rishab Shetty is set to deliver another haunting legendary tale, this time set during the rule of the Kadambas!

In the first look poster, Rishab Shetty, with blood smeared on his body, grips an axe and trident, his gaze unwaveringly focused on the adversaries.

The teaser begins with a scene from the first part and indicates that the story is set during the reigns of Kadambas and mentions that "a legend was born" during this period.

Following the gigantic success of 'Kantara', the makers of the movie are coming up with its prequel.

The posters and the teaser will be unveiled on the official social media handles of Hombale Films. Also, the teaser can be watched on the YouTube page of the production house.

The first part of the movie was about a landlord facing the wrath of a demigod after he tried to break his ancestor's promise to the villagers. He attempts to grab the land gifted by his forefathers to the villagers.

Apart from directing the project, Rishab Shetty played the lead role (Kaadubettu Shiva and a Daiva Kola performer) with Sapthami Gowda playing the female lead. The movie, which was made with a budget of Rs 16 crore, went on to mint over Rs 400 crore, globally.

The upcoming flick would narrate what happened before the birth of Shiva.
