Kanguva Box Office Prediction: Advance Booking Meets With Positive Response, To Translate Into Good Collection
Suriya's much-anticipated film Kanguva is off to a promising start, with robust advance ticket sales generating excitement among fans.
The movie has already garnered an impressive Rs 4.28 crore from pre-sales across various regions, with blocked seats accounting for an additional Rs 9.22 crore, as per Sacnik data. In Tamil Nadu, the demand is high, with Chennai contributing Rs 1.94 crore in advance bookings, while the movie has also seen enthusiastic responses in other regions like Karnataka, where it earned Rs 37.04 lakh, and Kerala with Rs 74.89 lakh in pre-sales.

Advance bookings officially opened for multiplexes nationwide on Tuesday, sparking a wave of rumors due to the timing. Addressing the rumors, producer Dhananjayan Govind clarified on X (formerly Twitter), assuring fans that this timeline aligns with the usual practice for large releases. "#KanguvaBookings opens tonight in all national multiplexes across the country... So don't prejudge the bookings & spread negativity," he urged, emphasizing the hard work that went into creating the high-budget film.
Govind further encouraged audiences to enjoy the film on the big screen, ideally in 3D for the best experience. "Show your love and don't spread negativity prior to release... See you all in screens from 14th Nov," he added.
The early trends say that the movie might easily cross Rs 20-crore mark at the Tamil Nadu box office.
At a recent press conference, producer G Dhananjeyan of Studio Green expressed excitement over the extensive release plans for Kanguva, targeting over 10,000 screens worldwide. "In Tamil Nadu alone, more than 700 screens have already been confirmed, while South India will see over 2,500 screens, and North India nearly 3,000 to 3,500 screens," he revealed, marking this as one of the largest releases for a South Indian film. The movie will be available in both 2D and 3D formats across multiple languages.
Kanguva features Suriya in dual roles as Kanguva and Francis Theodore, alongside a star-studded cast that includes Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and Anandraj. The film is set for release on November 14, and with its impressive pre-sale figures, it's clear that fans are eagerly awaiting the cinematic experience.
