'Kalki 2898 AD' Trailer Release, Fans' Reactions On X

Recently, Vyjayanthi Movies posted the first official trailer for their upcoming movie 'Kalki 2898 AD' on their YouTube channel.

The trailer itself has seen great success, reaching over 2.6 crore views on YouTube across five different languages.

The film is set to release worldwide on 27 June, 2024, in both theatres and IMAX. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film will feature actors such as Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and more.

There were also many netizens who compared the visuals of the movie to other western franchises like the classic sci-fi movies of Star Wars, or the post-apocalyptic action movies of Mad Max. There are also some netizens who remained on the cautious side when talking about their views on the film, stating that the comparisons to western franchises might be a negative, as it showed a lack of originality.
