Kadhalikka Neramillai Movie Review: What's Good, What's Bad In Jayam Ravi-Starrer; Find Out From Viewers' Word
Actor Jayam Ravi, now rebranded as Ravi Mohan, joins hands with Nithya Menen for Kadhalikka Neramillai, a modern romantic drama directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi.
Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under the Red Giant Movies banner, the film boasts a strong ensemble cast, including Yogi Babu, Vinay Rai, John Kokken, and Lal. With music by the legendary AR Rahman, cinematography by Gavemic U Ary, and editing by Lawrence Kishore, the film is a visual and auditory treat.

Storyline
Aimed at resonating with the Gen Z audience, Kadhalikka Neramillai explores the intricacies of modern relationships through a love triangle. The story is inspired by true events and reflects today's trends in romance, offering a fresh, progressive perspective. With witty dialogues and engaging sequences, the film promises a lighthearted yet relatable take on contemporary love without leaning on preachy messages.
Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, known for her works like Vanakkam Chennai, Kaali, and Paper Rocket, describes the film as a "new-age story" that doesn't cater to any specific audience segment. It's designed to be an enjoyable watch, portraying the evolving dynamics of relationships in a realistic manner.
For Jayam Ravi, who is seeking to rebound after the lukewarm reception of his previous film Brothers, this movie offers a crucial opportunity to connect with audiences again. With Nithya Menen and a talented team backing him, the film holds promise as a comeback vehicle for the star.
With a mix of romance, drama, and humor, Kadhalikka Neramillai is set to strike a chord with younger audiences while offering a fresh take on love and relationships. The collaboration of a strong cast, AR Rahman's music, and Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi's vision makes this film one to watch out for.
The movie has managed to garner decent hype with the promotions. Will it live up to the viewers' expectations?

Sidhu Writes: #KadhalikkaNeramillai (3.25/5) - Classy and cool romance. An interesting take on modern day relationships,
@astrokiru ensures that it will pick up the attention of one and all with her understanding of how minds and hearts work in today's times. Quite fresh and free flowing. As a film, it touches many taboo topics which usual romantic films don't do. It also provides opinions on how relationships can be worked out these days, even after things go wrong. Loved the performances of
@MenenNithya and @iam_RaviMohan - they are simply terrific!
Loved the first half of the film, it had almost everything in place. If the second half was as good, it would've been even better. However, the effort deserves praise as the topics it puts across are interesting and on a path less treaded!
Sekartweets:#KadhalikkaNeramillai - 3.25 out of 5,
@astrokiru has written a matured romance that emphasises on the fact that to be in love you don't have to be bound by traditional marriage, you don't even have to be related by blood. She has also given a solution to GenZ who already into Dual Income No Kids formula! Loved
@iam_RaviMohan
who sheds his action hero image and got into the shoes of a vulnerable youngster who has so many restrictions and confusions before getting the clarity. It's refreshing to see Ravi in a non-formulaic masala film(not even a single action scene!) Hope to see him in more such roles at least once in a while.
@MenenNithya shines yet again in an author backed role. I'm liking how she brings life to any character with so much ease and elegance. She plays a confident professional but there is a vulnerability in her personal life which also gets sorted towards the end.
The film is all how two individuals come together in life by helping each other without seeking any personal favour yet not bind by the institution of marriage.
@arrahman's fusion score (classical and western) in the first half reminds me of Ok Kanmani and it superbly elevated film. His background score in the second half is something unique like the western romantic films.
Cinematography by Gavemic U Ary brings in a fresh flavour to the film -glossy , grand and breathtaking.
For those who like classy romance on the big screen
Vishal Menon: #KadhalikkaNeramillai was delightful! A sweet, messy, complex love/life story that works in reverse gear. Lovely performances and music, treated with so much life and lightness. 😍😍
$hyju:#KadhalikkaNeramillai An okayish romantic drama...An ok first half and a better second half, felt the flow was little hampered in second half, Ravi and Nithya Menon chemistry was nice and refreshing.. TJ Bhanu as Nirupama a short role but she was apt and did well, Vinay Rai absolutely wasted, Yogi babu with his same mannerisms and dialogue deliveries was a complete misfit, Lal is another character wasted not sure why he was chosen for that role, I mean anyone could have done that role.. ARR BGM was perfect for the movie, songs were good.. This movie is primarily made for GenZ audience, The biggest let down in this movie is you are not able to connect with the characters or their emotions.The ending could also been better with a better impact it kind of felt bland.. No time for love No time for marriage is something hard to connect with...The movie never bored but it didn't excite either, overall a decent romantic drama.
MovieCrow: Interval: #KadhalikkaNeramillai This urban relationship drama about clash of ideologies takes some time to warm up but keeps you invested and grows a bit compelling towards the interval!
Let's X OTT GLOBAL: #KadhalikkaNeramillai - Beautiful Modern Love Tale♥️
It's definitely a #RaviMohan's comeback🎯 His performance is so matured & just simple Awestruck ♥️♥️ &
@arrahman's MUSIC Worked Well 👌
Eventhough NithyaMenen has the better screentime, @iam_RaviMohan scenes was the highlight in the film👏
A Decent Watch !
Venkatramanan: #KadhalikkaNeramillai (Tamil) - PRETTY DECENT WATCH 🙌
More on the confused takes on the idea of marriages, babies in the contemporary world & what happens in Sid & Shriya's lives ?
Feels like a simple, slow poetic ride & gives the feel of reading a book. Classy making, good visuals make it enjoyable with the catered cute moments by the director.
At times, dips away & the humours didn't work well. However, the measured performances from @iam_RaviMohan
@MenenNithya manage to convince well in the neatly done drama !!
If you can connect well with more progressive thoughts, this may work well for you, else might feel away. Nevertheless, a simple, slow & neat drama..
PRETTY DECENT WATCH 🙌
