Junior NTR, Rishab Shetty Visit Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt [Pics & Videos]

Telugu superstar Junior NTR has fulfilled his long-time dream of his mother Shalini Nandamuri as he visited Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt on Saturday.

He was accompanied by Kannada actor-filmmaker Rishab Shetty and 'KGF' creator Prashanth Neel, who will be helming NTR's next movie. It has to be noted that the Telugu superstar's mother hails from Kundapur in Udupi district.

"My mother's forever dream of bringing me to her hometown Kundapura and seeking darshan at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha has finally come true! To make it happen just before her birthday on September 2nd is the best gift I could give her," Junior NTR wrote in a post on X.

Thanking 'KGF' producer and Hombale Films boss Vijay Kiragandur, he wrote, "Thanks to @VKiragandur sir and my dearest friend Prashanth Neel for joining me and making this possible. A special thanks to my dear friend @shetty_rishab, whose presence and support made this moment incredibly special."

Speaking to the media, Junior NTR expressed his happiness at finally getting a darshan of Lord Krishna. However, he did not disclose any further plans, including whether he intends to visit other popular temples in and around the coastal town.

On the other hand, he is gearing up for the release of his next movie 'Devara: Part 1'.

The film also has Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor (in her Telugu debut), Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko and Narain in the cast. Set against the dramatic backdrop of coastal lands, this epic action saga unfolds a series of intense, emotionally charged events throughout its historical timeline. The story centers on the titular protagonist, who emerges as a heroic rescuer, fighting to protect the vulnerable and confront the forces of evil.
