Jolly LLB 3 Advance Bookings: Maharashtra Leads, Karnataka Shows High Occupancy

The advance bookings for "Jolly LLB 3," featuring Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, and Saurabh Shukla, show varied responses across India. The film is set to release on September 19. It has garnered ₹74.24 lakh in gross bookings for its opening day, with 23,965 tickets sold across 3,617 shows. Including block seats, the total collection rises to ₹2.17 crore.

Maharashtra leads the booking figures with ₹41.99 lakh (including block seats), followed by Delhi at ₹64.48 lakh and Gujarat at ₹16.93 lakh. West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh also showed decent interest, with collections of over ₹13 lakh and ₹17.6 lakh, respectively.

Regional Interest in Jolly LLB 3

Smaller states like Tripura and Himachal Pradesh recorded minimal numbers in advance bookings. Overall occupancy remains low, with most regions showing real occupancy rates between 0% and 10%. Karnataka stands out with a higher occupancy rate of 41%, albeit from just three shows.

Delhi and West Bengal had the highest number of nearly full and fast-filling shows, although the numbers remain modest. While the advance booking suggests a slow start for "Jolly LLB 3," there are still two days until its theatrical release.

Previous Successes of Jolly LLB Series

The original "Jolly LLB," released on March 15, 2013, was made on a modest budget of ₹12 crore and turned profitable by collecting ₹32.43 crore net in India and grossing ₹43.78 crore overall. Overseas earnings added another ₹2.22 crore, bringing the worldwide gross to around ₹46 crore.

"Jolly LLB 2," released on February 10, 2017, was a major box office success. With a budget of ₹30 crore, it collected an impressive ₹197.33 crore worldwide-₹162.50 crore from India and ₹34.83 crore from overseas markets-making it a super-hit.

Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar are reuniting for "Jolly LLB 3." The previous films' success sets high expectations for this new installment in the series.
